Courthouse Hotel - Update
Update from ACON
Just to give you an update on the Courthouse Hotel situation we have had a letter from the licensee. He has investigated the incident and although he still claims he is unsure of what exactly happened because we are relying on hearsay he has expressed regret for any 'embarrassment caused by the guard's actions.'
Further to this he has ensured that the security guard in question does no longer work at the venue.
The most positive outcome is that he has asked the security company to ensure that their personnel allocated to perform security duties at the hotel receive training in dealing with the gay and lesbian community sensitively.
He has passed on our details to the company to organise the training. I am going to ask him if I can make this letter available to Sx.
