by all means get the undies, but Cub... unless you're riding in the Tour de France there is never an excuse for wearing just lycra bike shorts. No amatuer bike rider should be allowed to wear them. EVAH!!!!

Lycra = EVIL

It is Satan's fabric!!! SATAN!!!!!!

[identity profile] cubboy.livejournal.com 2011-01-06 06:42 am (UTC)(link)
you wear lyrca smeared with stuff to stop saddle chaffe - trust me its needed

That's why some clever person invented Shy Shorts!!! You can wear the lycra, just ... not on their own. It doesn't look good on ANYONE. Even the OMG-CYCLING-ARE-SRS-BIZNESS folk with their bulgy taut musculature and walnut-cracking bumcheeks... they can JUST manage to rock the lycra shorts while they are ON their bikes riding at 60km/hr down the highway, but the second they stop and get off their bikes, game over, they look like tools.

Helps protect against zipper injury!

Which ironically you would think may be less of a problem for the gentleman of modestly projecting proportions...

I should get a pair, and continue the Gay Man Action from Lismore.

Uhuh... completely authentic looking...

now straight women and gay men can experience the disappointment of false advertising too :)

And continue to be duped by the stoopid idea that being a 'shower' rather than a 'grower' is more desirable, or that bigger is necessarily better. Isn't that what hands are for? *eg*
