Courthouse Hotel Kiss-In Cancelled

Dear Kiss-In Devotees,
thank-you for your overwhelming support of this community event. The Courthouse Hotel Kiss-In has been Cancelled until further notice, however please keep those lips limber.
The Courthouse Hotel licencee is currently investigating the incident(s)
by reviewing video footage and working with the AVP to ascertain who
did what to whom and when. it seems the threat of community action has
motivated the licencee to think again.
In light of this and the fact that the date chosen coincides with the
cricket I.e tonnes of pissed people, a major concern (as pointed out by
Annaliese) is that the safety of queer people pashing will be seriously
jeopardised.
The AVP's Somali Cerise will meet people at Kinsella's at 6 pm Oct 14th
(this Friday) to talk about what is being done behind closed doors to
ensure that the Courthouse Hotel respects the diversity of its patrons.
Please distribute this email far & wide in order to notify people that
this lip-based action has been cancelled....for the time being.
