I want to give Britney a hug... I had to watch the special, I can't help myself. Poor Britters. She went nuts and unlike the rest of us who do it in private she had the world's papparazzi clicking their cameras in her face the whole time.

I want Abby to call Gibbs "Daddy". Just once. C'mon NCIS writers, don't tell me that's not their dynamic! Just slip it in, make me happy.

I am currently reading a trashy trashy novel, by Jilly Cooper, who is an English "author"... books are kind of the longest ongoing relationship I have in my life, they are my lovers and friends and comfort... picking up a book by Jilly Cooper, that has languished at the back of the bookcase for years, with it's tattered cover, and pages falling out, is like taking up with that old ex that you are a bit embarrassed about, can only take in very small doses, but there's still just something irresistable about them... and even as I'm enjoying the trashiness of it, how undemanding and shallow it is, I feel vaguely ashamed for liking it. But I've started now and can't put it down. Trashy.

This is kind of cool... but is putting new music on a portable USB really going to get people flocking back to brick and mortar music stores? I'm dubious...

In other news, I am not a tranny chaser, but I may, just possibly, be a tranny magnet. Or tranny whisperer.

I have put half my CD collection onto CD's for freeq after our lengthy discussion of music last week... I fully expect her to do that raised eyebrow thing at me about some of the ones I've burnt for her, but even expecting it, I'm curiously nervous about sharing so much of my music... it seems strangely intimate and personal...

I'm an idiot.

I alternated between wanting to hug her and slap her. I get the going nuts and having to do it in public, but then she turns around and seeks more public attentionb by releasing the new album, fragrance etc... It may be an unfair thing to say but I just wanted to yell at her - if it is so horrible being chased and hounded by the paparazzi then just lay low for a while, escape the music and entertainment business, look after your kids and be a normal person.

Yeah, I kinda of agree with you, but she did, she's laid low for nearly two years, and I can also see that people don't get that huge if they don't have a passion for performing and that industry, so I imagine it would be hard to find the balance between doing what you love and what makes you happy, and having that create this monstrous invasion of your life... I don't get why the paparazzi have to hound people constantly, just because they choose a career that puts them in the public eye, it doesn't give anyone the right to invade their privacy or know every aspect of their life, just because their job is public.
