Good stuff has happened:

Kate's birthday drinks on Monday evening - lots of silliness and flirting and cheekiness and fun and yummy dinner... excellent evening!

Purple chicken cooked by Leesa on Tuesday night and Gurlesque performance plotting

Finally catching up with Spanky on Wednesday and hearing about his trip, and giving him his Xmess present (which he loved because I rock) and laughing lots... and then having coffee again on Thursday night and laughing lots...

Showering late at night, in the dark, with the bathroom window open while a storm hit outside... standing under the shower and watching lightning, rain blowing in and joining the warmer water of the shower... it's lovely!

Kath offering me her surplus bed base, and Rin and Frank coming to my rescue to go pick it up tomorrow.

New era in world politics with the inauguration of Obama, and the happy little flip my tummy did on Thursday morning when I was buying coffee and heard the words "US President Obama" on a radio bulletin, realising that the era of Bush is really definitely over for good.

Spending a couple of hours with my boots, a rag, and polish.

There is stuff I'm looking forward to:

Dog park and lunch with Lesley on Sunday

Housewarming on Monday

Spending lots of time with Leesa doing fun stuff

Seeing mum

Having the pest guy come on Wednesday to get rid of the cockroaches. Finally! The sad part is I have to use my tattoo money to pay for it... but I'll save it up again.

A possible date

Not being at work :)

Oh yes folks... I am on HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!

And a side note... Alan Cumming is a bit hot, he has a show on during Mardi Gras at the Studio and I so wish I could afford to go, sounds like it will be fabulous and he's delightful, and the promo shots for it are HOT HOT HOT!
