Rang in sick to work at about 4am this morning when I was awake and cough cough cough coughing... the sick has moved to my chest well and truly... I'm a little bit over listening to myself breathe, is all wheezy and rattley... also sick of the coughing coz I think I pulled a muscle under my ribs and it hurts a lot every time I cough...

Nurse boss rang me on my mobile at 9:40 to find out where i was ... rang her back to say i was sick and had left a message on my boss's voicemail... turns out my boss had neglected to mention that i was off sick to the potplant, who waited till 9:30 and then reported me as not turning up to the nurse manager, who rang me, and THEN spoke to my boss... communication in that place is so excellent!

Macy is very happy about the return of the couch doona and has commandeered it as hers, and gets very cross when I make her move so I can use the couch doona... she actually bit me when I tried to move her a few minutes ago. I think I'll let her have the couch doona and just go back to bed.
