This is the new office, a week before we moved in. My desk is at the far end, next to the door leading to reception. That door is the bane of my existence.

This is the view of the new building from halfway up the forecourt, the yellow building to the right is the original hospital building, attached to the new(er) hospital even further up on the right.

I may have posted this previously, but gosh I want one of these!

A week or two ago I went past David Jones and they were between window displays, and had white panels up, with bare white mannequins visible in the narrow gaps, kind of peeping-tom-esque... I laughed when I noticed one mannequin who had been arranged sitting, her knees bent up, her hands between her thighs, her head thrown back.... she looked like she was pleasuring herself... tsk tsk DJ's, kids walk past those windows!!! it was difficult to photograph, this was the best i could manage...

I made hot cross buns on the long weekend... I intended to make them for Easter, but used my eggs for something else and then the shops were shut and then i couldn't be arsed... anyhow, they came out quite well, they were soft and delish and fabulous when they were warm and fresh from the oven, but they were kind of dry and like little hard lumps the next day, which was disappointing...

Last Saturday while driving back from the metro with Ange, we spotted an antique double-decker bus, painted in army camo, stopped at the lights. It was AWESOME. I managed to snap a quick photo but it really doesn't do it justice.

My kitty is the cutest thing in the whole wide world... now that it's colder she's taken to demanding to be let under the covers again (which she does by gently clawing at them and mewing pitifully until i lift the doona for her), some days i wake up to this
