World Aids Day

Outside my office building, over in Taylor Square the Police Band is currently rocking it's way through a fabulous collection of classic gay anthems with a wee blond lady in a very colourful frock helping out on vocals... there is a free (donations welcome) sausage sizzle and free (donations welcome) coffee, and volunteers selling red ribbons and collecting donations... but not much of a crowd.





I couldn't loiter long, a lunch break at 3pm is never a long one... but I can hear the band still (we're up to "I Will Survive" - Gloria Gaynor) and that's a happy thing :)

Dinner and gelati with a very sweet boi this evening... and challenging conversation. Good. But eep. What is it with me and bois who ask the questions? This one answers questions too, which is good, challenging but good in both directions.

Entertaining bus ride home, with a driver on his first day going solo, needing direction. I think it's cruel giving the new driver the 412, which goes all around the world.

The sunset tonight was spectacular, I kept getting distracted on the bus and forgetting to give directions, I wish I could have got a photo when the whole sky was purple... this is a crappy photo but the best i could manage, from the middle of the street out front of my house.
