Pom Pom Joy and Retail Lust

Ange is a darling... she gave me a Pom Pom Pen which I am now using at work... much to the bemusement of my colleagues... anyhow, it's cheering me tremendously :)



Also, on Tuesday evening I walked past a tattoo shop that had an umbrella in the window and had a moment of pure unadulterated retail lust such as I have not experienced in quite some time... the object of my desire is, quite oddly, a brolly...

because LJ is the only place I can scream right now...

I'm having a real issue this week with people nodding as I talk, like they
are listening and understanding, and then later demonstrating that they really clearly were just nodding at the voices INSIDE their head or the pixie on their shoulder and were unaware my mouth was even moving... or the other issue I am having is people who DID notice my mouth moving and even listened to what I said, but then take what I said and twist and misquote it to other folks...

Repeatedly.

More than one person.

I'm starting to contemplate a vow of silence.
