What I want to know is why 11:04???? Why not on the hour?

Because that's 12:04 GMT which coincides with something to do with some solstice and presumably alignment of planets... I did see something on the website about it... there was also something about anytime an hour either side is also good, so *phew* no pressure to achieve toe-curling precisely on the dot of 11:04pm!
