The perfect sandwich

This is the Chicken Cubano, from Coco Cubano in Darlinghurst.



Coco Cubano is my new favorite coffee place, the usual barista is very cute, the coffee is good, the atmosphere is laidback, the aesthetic appeals to me, they do actually sell cigars as well as coffee, food, chocolate and cocktails, and then there is the Chicken Cubano.

Simple perfection... the bread is fresh and soft, the chicken perfectly cooked and juicy, there is the perfect amount of gooey nommy cheese, and pickles! PICKLES!

I had one for lunch last week, and moaned a little at the first mouthful... I tried it again this morning for breakfast and the first one was no fluke of deliciousness... I am in love with this sandwich.

Have you been to The Bunker? It's on Liverpool St, in between Darlinghurst and Victoria Rds. They do nommy chicken sandwiches too, as well as a 'Pie of the Day', which always sounds nice, but I've never stopped in long enough to try one.

Also, they do Campos coffee. *swoons*

No, I rarely ever venture in that direction to be honest, I tend to stick to Oxford St close to my office coz I'm nealy always running late in the morning, or just taking a quick break if I have a lunch break at all... so within two minutes of the office is kind of my boundary! I really should start taking proper lunch breaks and exploring around the place though... and for Campos coffee, yeah, that's worth it :)
