In just 22 days, I will be in Tasmania with TNF (the neighbour flatmate).. WOOT!!!! Holidaaaay!!!!! Was talking to mum on the weekend and her ~~slave~~ hubby had just filled up the spa (they emptied it over winter) and was in the process of getting it all sorted so that it's ready for when we get there, HUZZAH!! We fly down on Friday, they fly out on Saturday, on the way back from dropping them at the airport I am voting we buy a bottle or two of champagne, some nom nibbles, and spend the rest of the day drinking bubbles whilst lounging in bubbles :) BUBBLES!!!!

Work is insanely constantly busy... it's not particularly challenging or interesting, but we now do the referrals for all community health services, post-acute care (hospital in the home), community clinic, homeless outreach, homeless medical emergency team, general community mental health, acute care/crisis community mental health, alcohol & drug residential program, outpatient program, and stimulant treatment project... according to our stats the last two months we've had over 1200 faxes a month, that's more than 60 a day on average, and that doesn't include all the phonecalls. BUSY. Looking forward to holiday in three weeks :D

Project "Become a Non-Smoker" continues well, one week in and I have successfully stuck to my daily limit, and have even come in under it a couple of times. Tomorrow I drop to a limit of 8/day, so shall see how that goes.

I'm still practicing on Lola every night, I now have Every Rose Has It's Thorn down solid, including the singing-along. I have added "What's Going On" by 4 Non Blondes to the repertoire, but am still at the stage of only being able to play it, not sing along with it, because it's yet another new strum pattern and requires too much concentration at this point for me to manage to sing as well... give me a week. Lola gives me so much joy, I'm totes in love with her and in love with the fact that I can make music :)

know what else i love? My hair... I have a very cute fringe (well, it's cute when i actually style it properly), and my hair is long enough to put up but still short enough to look good on me, and I have a shaved undercut which is all soft and furry and yummy to play with :)

know what I don't love? Orange Chupachups. Orange chupachups taste like festering arsedeath :-(

I bought a pack of 40 chupachups last week, and brought a giant handful to work to stash in my drawer for emergencies. I just tried an orange one, possibly for the first time ever in my life, surely I would remember a tste so vile?!? It spent about 2 seconds in my mouth and then went in the bin. I offered the remaining three orange ones to The Other Tammy and she declined, I offered them to Vinegar Tits and she took one for later (hah! suck on that festering orange arsedeath!!!), I'm leaving the other two as a "present" for when the Potplant gets back from holidays next week :)

This has taken three and a half hours to write. Enough.
