Got a text message from mum last night: "have sepsis in hospital since last night". Rang her of course, she started on Methotrexate (chemo drug) last week as an experimental treatment for her Lupus, but it can have some nasty side effects so when she started feeling sick on Tuesday arvo she went to the hospital... bloods show positive for staph type infection but they don't know what caused it, although she did develop cellulitis on her foot yesterday morning which was rapidly spreading up her leg... so they've stopped the methotrexate (it suppresses the immune system) and started a raft of heavy duty antibiotics and she's feeling better and enjoying the drama, so all good.

the potplant told me this morning that i should not eat my banana and yoghurt the way I do... apparently dunking the banana into the yoghurt and then biting off the yoghurt covered end "looks rude". I told him he obviously has a very dirty mind. I was tempted to start licking/sucking the yoghurt from the banana just to bother him, but figured he's disturbed enough :)

Saw The Kings Speech on Tuesday evening, I loved it so so much... it was brilliant, the entire cast were wonderful... easily the best movie I've seen in a while. It finished and I was tempted to go out and buy a ticket to the late session straight away because I wanted to watch it over again. I will almost certainly go see it again.

Had dinner in Newtown with best boy last night which was a treat, we've not seen much of each other over the past two months what with Xmess and NY and holidays and whatnot... missed him.

I am still avoiding Dealing With Stuff. Can't put it off forever, I know, but ... where to start?? At least I am acknowledging that there is Stuff to be dealt with and that I am actively avoiding it... that's a step forward from complete denial...

Must remember to check lottery ticket... I might be a millionaire... *happy dreams*
