I have been a non-smoker for 5 weeks.

I may have had one or two drunken smokes at Xmess, but they don't count.

I bought a bottle of water at the smoke shop at the train station last week, and the guy there automatically reached for the smokes I used to buy from him all the time and I got to say "No no no, put them back, I quit!"... he said "good for you, keep it up" :) The girl who catches the same bus from work in the afternoons is back from holidays this week, and asked to borrow my lighter the other day, and I got to say "Sorry, I quit so I don't have one anymore". She asked if it was a New Years thing, and I got to say "No, I quit on December 10 so it's been a month now". A MONTH.

Congratulations! Smoke-free (again) since November 8th myself. Once you get ready to quit, it's pretty easy. I think for me it was the constant hacking up crap that made me ready.
